How to care for your new AQVAROSSA piece

If you are not wearing your AQVAROSSA garment for a few months, it is best to keep it in a cool, dark and dry place. Ideally, the garment is dry-cleaned or washed by hand according to the instructions, before it is stored in a garment bag with moth repellent.

Knitwear is best laid flat to keep it in shape. Use the self-cleaning powers of our wool: simply hang up your pieces in the morning mist or in a steamy bathroom, and the natural fibres will clean themselves and make creases disappear.

Cotton

All of the cotton we use is organic and 100% sustainable. It is grown in a way that ensures minimal environmental impact and supports producer livelihoods and communities. The mill from which we source our cotton is based in Italy and operates with sustainability and respect for the environment at the core of its operations. As well as specialist craftsmanship and knowledge gleaned over more than fifty years specialising in this area the group’s green philosophy also extends to its energy which is hydroelectric and self-produced.

Maker

For this collection we have worked closely with a highly skilled maker in the heart of West London. As a local studio with an experienced team including some of the best fabric cutters and in-house ateliers, they are perfectly positioned to ensure that a meticulous level of detail is met on every single piece. Their expertise working with luxury brands and bespoke one off styles makes them the perfect partner for this unique collection and their proximity to our own London creative studio ties in with our ongoing work towards sustainability and traceability.
